Introduction | Flow | Main Databases | Pre-Built Templates | Homepage
Flow routine is a revolutionary five-stage method in accomplishing your action items. By going through each stage, one will be able to focus on what really matters today.
This is the central unit of this template’s system. Everything basically starts here. All major databases are located in the Source stage.
The 5 main components (Areas, Goals, Projects, Shelf, and Bin) are located here in Source.
Have you ever wanted to track and reflect on your recent actions? No worries! The next stage does that just for you.
In the Track stage, you can see your past week’s summary. This includes your sleep hours, amount of water intake, amount of caffeine dose, habit progress, journal entries, and of course, your completed tasks for that week.
This stage remains crucial in one’s life as it provides insight into a person. It reveals how consistent and productive he or she is throughout that week. By showing the past week’s statistics, a person can be able to know which part he or she is lacking and needs to improve.
Brain Extension is specially built with systematic structure and efficient design as its core qualities.
Therefore, the third stage exists. The Organize stage is where you can manage your messy action items. From tasks, projects, and goals up to Shelf items such as quick notes, notebooks, and bookmarks.
All databases are equipped with accurate filters so that only uncompleted items that require more information show up at this stage.
We all need a calendar for our tasks and projects, right?
This stage is specially made for that purpose. Schedule your tasks based on their start dates and track the ones that you missed. By scheduling based on start dates, you are less likely to procrastinate.
Furthermore, monitor the target dates of all your projects, so you never miss one.
After every stage we have encountered, this is basically the daily endgame of your Brain Extension.
From the root source, tracking stage, organization stage, and scheduling stage up to the last, which is the grinding stage, you are able to filter out unnecessary information and action items.
In this stage, the only thing you must focus on is the “Today’s Agenda.” This consists of the tasks that are supposed to be started today. These tasks can be viewed on a Kanban board which is grouped according to the task’s current status.
Another thing that we believe might be helpful to other people is the “Re-schedule Tasks” section. Well, this template is supposed to boost your productivity and avoid laziness; however, from a realistic point of view, we have no control over unexpected events. Therefore, some might consider rescheduling some of their tasks to deal with their unexpected events. As a reminder, you can opt to remove this if you really want to focus on finishing all tasks.
The next section of the Grind stage mostly consists of your daily statistics, including the morning and bedtime routines, habits, journal, sleep hours tracker, water intake tracker, and caffeine dose tracker. These metrics are purposely grouped together so you won’t miss a single day.
Finally, you can also monitor your current entertainment area. In this case, you never lose track of current books, series, and movies.
And this ends the walkthrough of the Grind stage as well as the entire Flow routine.
